Voltage fluctuations in mesoscopic structures of bismuth
Solid State Communications, 1990Abstract The resistance fluctuations with magnetic field in mesoscopic wires of bismuth have been investigated. The wires show conductance fluctuations (dG) and antilocalization effects, and show voltage fluctuations in Hall measurements at 4.2K and 1.5K.

Voltage fluctuations of metal-electrolyte interfaces in electrophysiology
Medical & Biological Engineering, 1966In addition to wide band thermal noise, metal-electrolyte interfaces generate spontaneous voltage fluctuations of electrochemical origin. They range in duration from less than 100 msec to more than several seconds. Special activities are spikes and semi-periodic oscillations. Amplitudes are usually below 1 mV on macroscopic specimens.

Compensation of voltage fluctuations to industrial customers
2017 International Conference on Optimization of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (OPTIM) & 2017 Intl Aegean Conference on Electrical Machines and Power Electronics (ACEMP), 2017This paper compares three possibilities for determining the flicker level generated by industrial customer with arc furnaces: by calculating the electromagnetic perturbations, by experimental measurements, and by simulation using specialized software. The influence of the fault level on the propagation of perturbation in the power system represents a ...

Voltage control and voltage fluctuations in distributed resource interconnection projects
IEEE PES T&D 2010, 2010Distributed resources (DR) are connected to distribution feeders, and may have a significant impact on steady-state voltage control, light flicker, and transient or temporary overvoltages. The impacts depend on DR interconnection techniques, power variation profiles, and product characteristics.

Battery Voltage Fluctuations during Penumbral Passage
2003Abstract : The effect of power system load fluctuations on nickel-hydrogen battery cell voltage has been examined during simulated transit from discharge to charge as a satellite traverses a penumbral region of space The types of cell and battery resistances that can affect the voltage ripple are identified and measured for an aged 60-Ah nickel ...

Ambiguity of voltage fluctuations analysis during electroporation
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2000The estimate of the power spectrum of voltage fluctuations during the electroporation process in a bilayer lipid membrane has been performed with two methods. Different methods (correlogram and periodogram) give different results indicating that the interpretation of the data is ambiguous. Fluctuations in economical time-series show a similar behavior.
