Current and voltage graphs of a composite graph

International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 1974
AbstractFrom a given composite graph two graphs are derived, which can be interpreted as current and voltage graphs, respectively. It is shown that a complete tree of both graphs is a directed tree of the composite graph. Thus the generation of directed trees is reduced to the generation of complete trees. The matrix belonging to the composite graph is

Enhancing the Tolerance of Voltage Regulation to Cyber Contingencies via Graph-Based Deep Reinforcement Learning

IEEE Transactions on Power Systems
The volatility from the high penetration of distributed energy resources (DERs) makes distribution networks more susceptible to voltage violations. Besides, with the increasing coupling of cyber and physical sides in modern power systems, the risk of ...

Real-Time Cascading Failure Risk Evaluation With High Penetration of Renewable Energy Based on a Graph Convolutional Network

IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2023
When renewable energy penetration increases and the power network becomes more complex, vulnerability and security concerns typically also become more prevalent. A proper evaluation method focused on risk prediction and failure identification is required

Cooperative Fault-Estimation-Based Event-Triggered Fault-Tolerant Voltage Restoration in Islanded AC Microgrids

IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, 2023
In this paper, the problem of secondary voltage restoration in an islanded microgrid (MG) is considered, in which the actuator of the distributed generators (DGs) may coexist with partial loss of effectiveness (PLOE) fault and bias fault. For each DG, an

Real-Time Topology Estimation for Active Distribution System Using Graph-Bank Tracking Bayesian Networks

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2023
Real-time topology estimation in distribution grid with high penetration of distributed energy resources remains a challenging task due to the insufficient high-precision measurements and frequent topology variations.

Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring Using Identity Library Based on Structured Feature Graph and Group Decision Classifier

IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, 2023
Non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) is performed to realize intelligent power consumption. A load identification algorithm which is flexible for various households is required to realize automatic NILM.

Graph partitioning of power network for emergency voltage control

2013 9th Asian Control Conference (ASCC), 2013
This paper presents an electrical network graph partitioning technique that divides a power network into zones. The idea of partitioning is to prevent the propagation of disturbances between zones and avoid cascading events in response to disturbances.

Graph Algorithms for Topology Identification in Electrical Medium Voltage Grids

2023 58th International Universities Power Engineering Conference (UPEC), 2023
The availability of realistic grid topologies is of central importance for the usability of grid models in calculations. However, especially in distribution grids, poor documentation, limited digitization and insufficient data quality can lead to faulty topologies, which result in errors in subsequent calculations.

Distributed Secondary Control for Voltage Regulation and Optimal Power Sharing in DC Microgrids

IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2022
In this article, a novel distributed secondary control scheme is proposed to solve the voltage regulation and power sharing problems of an islanded direct current (DC) microgrid.

A voltage scheduling heuristic for real-time task graphs

2003 International Conference on Dependable Systems and Networks, 2003. Proceedings., 2004
Energy constrained complex real-time systems are becoming increasingly important in defense, space, and consumer applications. In this paper, we present a sensible heuristic to address the problem of energy-efficient voltage scheduling of a hard real-time task graph with precedence constraints for a multi-processor environment.
