A new low-voltage CMOS winner-take-all (WTA) circuit is presented. The proposed circuit exhibits a linear increase of complexity with the number of inputs at the rate of only three transistors per input and it is based on a modified version of the common source scheme.

Conversion of voltage-mode biquads to current-mode
38th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Proceedings, 2002A new procedure for obtaining cascadable, opamp based current-mode biquads from voltage-mode biquads without the use of voltage-mode to current-mode transformations is presented. Two new multi opamp biquads circuits are derived and used to construct lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, and allpass filters. A single opamp bandpass circuit is also derived.

Voltage-Mode Ferroelectric Synapse for Neuromorphic Computing
ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2023Ferroelectric materials with a modulable polarization extent hold promise for exploring voltage-driven neuromorphic hardware, in which direct current flow can be minimized. Utilizing a single active layer of an insulating ferroelectric polymer, we developed a voltage-mode ferroelectric synapse that can continuously and reversibly update its states. The

Voltage Mode Doherty Power Amplifier
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2017This paper presents a new wideband Doherty amplifier technique that can achieve high efficiency while maintaining excellent linearity. By modifying a “forgotten” topology originally proposed by Doherty, a new Doherty amplifier architecture is realized with two voltage mode power amplifiers (PAs) and transformers, thus eliminating a narrowband impedance

Current Mode and Voltage Mode: basic considerations
2003 46th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2006In this letter, the authors proposed a discussion concerning the actual meaning of 'current mode' and 'voltage mode' in the continuous-time domain. In this domain, it is assumed that analog processing is completed from transistors in voltage-controlled current source mode of operation.

CMOS voltage-mode analog multiplier
2006 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2006This paper proposes a CMOS voltage-mode four-quadrant analog multiplier. It is based on a pair of diode-connected MOS transistor that is biased with a constant current source, and a CMOS voltage difference circuit. Simulation results shows that the linear range is /spl plusmn/400 mV with the linearity error of 0.8% and the harmonic distortion of 0.62%.

Voltage-mode active-only biquad
International Journal of Electronics, 2000This paper presents a realization of a voltage-mode active-only biquadratic circuit. The proposed circuit is constructed employing solely operational amplifiers and operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs). The circuit configuration is obtained from a second-order structure with two integrator loops.

Voltage mode controlled buck converter under input voltage variations
2015 IEEE 15th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC), 2015Power electronic converters play a vital role in a power system and the most commonly used type of DC/DC converters is buck converter. This is due to the fact that buck converters are widely used to step down the voltage as well as they provide good voltage regulation in critical applications including power supplies for data centers.

KHN-equivalent voltage-mode filters using universal voltage conveyors
AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2011Abstract The analog circuit design is very often focused on the design of frequency filters employing different types of active elements. In this paper we present the universal voltage conveyor that is used for the design of the KHN-equivalent filters working in the voltage-mode.

Low-voltage current-mode filters
Proceedings of the 39th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002A novel analogue continuous-time current-mode filter synthesis technique is proposed based on a transformed set of state-equations that allow the utilization of only current-mode linear lossy-integrators, implemented using standard current mirrors; also a novel current-mode gyrator is introduced.
