Small Signal Modeling and Stability Analysis of Modular Multilevel Converter Based on Harmonic State-Space Model

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
The stability of Modular multilevel converter (MMC) itself is the premise of analyzing the stability of MMC cascading with other cells, so this paper addressed the small-signal stability of MMC with dc voltage control mode which is the common operation ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Research on the Operation Control Strategy of a Low-Voltage Direct Current Microgrid Based on a Disturbance Observer and Neural Network Adaptive Control Algorithm

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Low-voltage direct current (DC) microgrid based on distributed generation (DG), the problems of load mutation affecting the DC bus under island mode, and the security problems that may arise when the DC microgrid is switched from island mode to grid ...

Simple Realizations of Current-Mode and Voltage-Mode PID, PI and PD Controllers

open access: yesProceedings of the IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2005. ISIE 2005., 2005
This paper presents new circuits for realizing both current-mode and voltage-mode proportional-integral- derivative (PID), proportional-derivative (PD) and proportional-integral (PI) controllers employing second- generation current conveyors (CCIIs) as active elements.

Sliding Mode Repetitive Control of PWM Voltage Source Inverter [PDF]

open access: yes2007 7th International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems, 2007
This paper proposes a hybrid sliding mode repetitive control scheme that combines both the features of the sliding mode control and the repetitive control to achieve excellent transient and steady-state system performances in voltage source inverters.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Enhancing 7 MW solar power plant performance in Thailand: Power management via energy time shift and voltage range control mode

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
In this study, to maintain the grid voltage within an allowable range, a fixed lagging 0.975 PF reactive power control without a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and energy time shift and voltage range control mode using BESS are performed ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Multi-mode collaborative voltage control strategy for low-voltage flexible interconnection systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
Distributed generators (DG) exhibit output volatility, and their connection locations are unevenly distributed. The high proportion and large-scale integration of DG into low-voltage distribution networks can lead to voltage violations at line terminals ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
