Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Time-division-multiplex control scheme for voltage multiplier rectifiers
A voltage multiplier rectifier with a novel time-division-multiplexing (TDM) control scheme for high step-up converters is proposed in this study. In the proposed TDM control scheme, two full-wave voltage doubler rectifiers can be combined to realise a ...

Controllable high voltage source having fast settling time [PDF]
A high voltage dc stepping power supply for sampling a utilization device such as an electrostatic analyzer has a relatively fast settling time for voltage steps. The supply includes a waveform generator for deriving a low voltage staircase waveform that

Programmable voltage multiplier for pacemaker outputpulse generation
The problems that arise when trying to port pacemaker analogue blocks to submicrometre technology are discussed. A circuit topology is proposed for a programmable voltage multiplier that can handle the relatively high voltages required to stimulate the heart, while still being able to operate from an almost exhausted pacemaker battery.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

High‐voltage‐gain quadratic boost converter with voltage multiplier
In this study, a novel high‐gain quadratic boost converter with a voltage multiplier circuit is presented to give an alternative power electronic circuit for high‐voltage conversion and low‐to‐medium power applications. The proposed converter combines the traditional quadratic boost converter and a coupled‐inductor‐based voltage multiplier circuit ...

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).
