An Electromechanical Model for Clamped-Edge Bimorph Disk Type Piezoelectric Transformer Utilizing Kirchhoff Thin Plate Theory

open access: yesSensors, 2022
In this paper, an analytical solution for a clamped-edge bimorph disk-type piezoelectric transformer with Kirchhoff thin plate theory is proposed. The electromechanical equations for transient motions are first derived, and coupled expressions for ...

Very efficient CMOS low-voltage output stage

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1995
A novel CMOS low-voltage output stage is proposed which is based on a class AB common source configuration. It provides high drive capability while using output transistors with low aspect ratios. A 2 mA peak-to-peak output current is achieved with a 1.5 V power supply and a maximum aspect ratio of 375/2. The output stage includes a very simple current

Control Method for Improving Voltage Response and Ripple of Isolated DC-DC Converter

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
Affected by the abrupt changes of load and unregulated first-stage rectifiers, it is difficult for the output voltage of the isolated DC-DC converter with traditional proportional-integral (PI) control to meet the needs of industrial applications such as

Controllable high voltage source having fast settling time [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
A high voltage dc stepping power supply for sampling a utilization device such as an electrostatic analyzer has a relatively fast settling time for voltage steps. The supply includes a waveform generator for deriving a low voltage staircase waveform that

Is There a Place for a Reasonable Woman in the Law? A Discussion of Recent Developments in Hostile Environment Sexual Harassment [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
In this study, we demonstrate piezoelectric power generation from zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires grown on paper substrate. Vertically aligned ZnO nanowires are deflected by an atomic force microscopy (AFM) tip in contact mode which generates an output ...

Pazopanib Combined With Vincristine and Irinotecan in Relapsed Wilms Tumor: Encouraging Outcomes in a Heavily Pretreated Pediatric Cohort

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background While Wilms tumor (WT) typically has a favorable prognosis, relapsed cases—especially those with high‐risk histology—remain therapeutically challenging after intensive frontline therapy. The combination of vincristine and irinotecan has demonstrated activity in pediatric solid tumors, and pazopanib, a multi‐targeted tyrosine kinase ...

Potential Early Risk Biomarkers for Reduced Forced Expiratory Volume in Children Post‐Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.
