Single grain heating due to inelastic cotunneling
We study heating effects of a single metallic quantum dot weakly coupled to two leads. The dominant mechanism for heating at low temperatures is due to inelastic electron cotunneling processes.

Voltage profile and four terminal resistance of an interacting quantum wire [PDF]
We investigate the behavior of the four-terminal resistance $R_{4pt}$ in a quantum wire described by a Luttinger liquid in two relevant situations: (i) in the presence of a single impurity within the wire and (ii) under the effect of asymmetries ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) carries substantial mortality. The role of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) remains uncertain. Methods We retrospectively analyzed patients with AOSD‐MAS treated with TPE at a single‐center.

Voltage Profile Control of Active Distribution Networks
This thesis presents a method for voltage profile control in active distribution networks with solar photovoltaic integration. It proposes a hierarchical control technique which utilizes minimal information techniques to monitor and control the voltage profile and the reactive power flow of a given unbalanced distribution network.

<p class="Abstract">In this paper, we have presented a simulation study to analyze the power quality of three phases medium voltage grid connected with distribution generation (DG) such as photovoltaic (PV) farms and its control schemes. The system uses two-stage energy conversion topology composed of a DC to DC boost converter for the extraction

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Analysis of the Voltage Profiles with Uprating Technique by Third Harmonic Voltage Injection
This paper presents a study concerning the transmission line uprating method by injection of third harmonic voltage (THV). The method has been recently employed as a more economically feasible proposal to raise the transmission voltage level without the requirement for changes in the structural elements of overhead lines.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
