Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as a voltage control at substation based on the defense scheme mechanism

open access: yesJurnal Ilmiah SINERGI
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) can improve power quality in a grid with various integrated energy resources. The BESS can adjust the supply and demand to maintain a more stable, reliable, and resilient power system. Connected to the grid, BESS can

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Voltage regulation in MV networks

open access: yes, 2018
Početak ovog rada ukratko se dotiče struktura i karakteristika srednjenaponskih distribucijskih mreža. Zahtjevi na regulaciju napona 20 kV mrežama popraćeni su tehničkim rješenjima regulacije napona u istima.

Reinforcement-Learning Control for Coordinated Voltage Regulation in Distribution Systems Using a Power Hardware-in-the-Loop Platform

open access: yesIEEE Access
The variable nature of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), such as solar Photovoltaic (PV) arrays and Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), create several challenges for utilities and system operators related to maintaining voltage and frequency stability ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Research of closed-loop voltage and speed regulation method based on six-pulse-wave AC/AC frequency converter

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2013
In view of problem of bigger speed difference between frequency levels in high frequencies in speed regulation technology of six-pulse-wave AC/AC frequency converter, the paper proposed a closed-loop voltage and speed regulation method based on six-pulse-

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Federated reinforcement learning based dual-level voltage regulation for PV-rich distribution grids

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
In order to eliminate medium voltage (MV) voltage violations and low voltage (LV) three-phase voltage unbalance in PV-rich dual-level distribution networks simultaneously, a novel federated reinforcement learning (FRL)-based voltage regulation method is ...
