Theoretical and Experimental Investigation of Switching Ripple in the DC-Link Voltage of Single-Phase H-Bridge PWM Inverters

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Direct current (DC)-link voltage ripple analysis is essential for determining harmonic noise and for DC-link capacitor design and selection in single-phase pulse-width modulation (PWM) inverters.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Research on decoupling control method for single-phase cascade H-bridge rectifier in coal mine scenarios

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
In response to the problems of secondary voltage ripple on the DC side of single-phase cascade H-bridge rectifiers during operation in coal mine scenarios, such as grid side current distortion and capacitance drift, this paper analyzes the causes of ...

New Modular Multilevel DC–DC Converter Derived from Modified Buck–Boost DC–DC Converter

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Raising the electrification ratio to 100% is still a formidable challenge in Indonesia, especially in the remote areas of the eastern part of the archipelago. A DC microgrid system is one of the most viable solutions to increase the electricity supply in

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Low-Carrier-Ratio Modulation Strategy Based on Improved Flux Ripple Model

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Since the quality of the direct and quadrature axis current (dq-axis) is an important performance indicator of a motor, the technique of flux ripple analysis is necessary to determine the appropriate working conditions for various voltage sequences and ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

An Adaptive Control Strategy for a Low-Ripple Boost Converter in BLDC Motor Speed Control

open access: yesPower Electronics and Drives, 2021
Conventional boost converters are widely used for connecting low-voltage power sources and inverters in motor control. However, a large filter capacitor bank is often used to reduce DC-link ripples that occur when an inverter is connected to a boost ...

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Adaptive Power–Time Coupled Synchronization for DC-Bus Ripple Suppression in Single-Phase AC–DC–AC Voltage Regulators

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics
The inherent second-order power oscillation of the single-phase AC-DC-AC voltage regulator under wide input voltage conditions will cause significant ripple in the DC bus voltage, especially when the load changes suddenly.
