ABSTRACT Background Healing dynamics after anterior skull base (ASB) reconstruction following transnasal endoscopic surgery (TES) for sinonasal malignancies remain poorly characterized. This study aimed to describe the postoperative healing process, quantify time to healing, identify factors influencing healing, and assess radiologic evolution over ...

Nanodiamonds as Bioactive Platforms to Modulate Microbial, Mammalian, and Vertebrate Systems
Nanodiamonds (NDs) are biocompatible and antibacterial nanomaterials that support mammalian cell growth while inhibiting bacterial pathogens. NDs showed strong antibacterial activity, with Escherichia coli being more sensitive than Staphylococcus aureus. At 10 mg/mL, both bacteria exhibited ~8% viability.

Abstract Premise In North America, Phragmites australis (common reed) has drawn a great deal of research attention. Non‐native P. australis subsp. australis is a noxious weed that has locally displaced native P. australis subsp. americanus in some areas.

Abstract The Upper Cretaceous São José do Rio Preto Formation (Bauru Group, southeastern Brazil) has yielded a fragmentary but taxonomically diverse record of titanosaur sauropods, although elements from cervical series remain scarce. Here, we describe a nearly complete sauropod axis from the Vila Ventura Paleontological Area, representing an uncommon ...

Self-Supervised Voltage Sag Source Identification Method Based on CNN
A self-supervised voltage sag source identification method based on a convolution neural network is proposed in this study. In addition, a self-supervised CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) voltage sag source identification model is constructed on the ...

Abstract A knee dislocation combined with a patellofemoral dislocation is an extremely rare and complex injury that reflects severe multidirectional instability and extensive soft‐tissue disruption. We show an open single‐stage anatomic reconstruction method for a patient with type IV tibiofemoral dislocation, patellofemoral dislocation, and bucket ...

An estimation method of lightning-voltage sag severity based on adaptive association rule mining
Accurate estimation of voltage sag severity can provide a basis for sensitive users to adjust their production mode and avoid economic losses in advance. In view of lightning, which is the main cause of voltage sag, the widely deployed lightning location

Abstract Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) tears can spontaneously heal, but often heal with excess laxity. In contrast to well‐documented arthroscopic proximal and distal PCL tear repairs, the most prevalent mid‐substance tear is typically managed conservatively, or with full reconstruction.

Improved Space Vector Modulation of Quasi Z-Source Inverter to Suppress DC-Link Voltage Sag
The three traditional strategies ZSVM1, ZSVM2, and ZSVM6 have been commonly used to control the quasi Z-source inverter (qZSI). However, there is a serious problem that the dc-link voltage of the qZSI drops under light load, leading to the distortion of ...
