Who Owns the Output? Authorship, Creative Labour, and Innovation Capability in Human‐AI Collaboration

open access: yesAI &Innovation, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Generative AI is radically transforming how creative authorship is understood, attributed, and governed across the world’s cultural and creative industries. As AI systems increasingly produce outputs that organisations and audiences recognise as creative, foundational assumptions about who authors creative work, who receives credit for it, and

Unified Power Quality Controller Based on Synchronous Rotating Coordinates

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2015
In order to improve the control precision and response speed of UPQC, it presented a novel method for three-phase current harmonics and single-phase voltage sag detection based on the synchronous rotating coordinates.

Nanodiamonds as Bioactive Platforms to Modulate Microbial, Mammalian, and Vertebrate Systems

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Nanodiamonds (NDs) are biocompatible and antibacterial nanomaterials that support mammalian cell growth while inhibiting bacterial pathogens. NDs showed strong antibacterial activity, with Escherichia coli being more sensitive than Staphylococcus aureus. At 10 mg/mL, both bacteria exhibited ~8% viability.

New Power Quality Analysis Method Based on Chaos Synchronization and Extension Neural Network

open access: yesEnergies, 2014
A hybrid method comprising a chaos synchronization (CS)-based detection scheme and an Extension Neural Network (ENN) classification algorithm is proposed for power quality monitoring and analysis. The new method can detect minor changes in signals of the

Molecular methods for differentiating Phragmites australis subspecies and identification of hybrid stands in the Upper Midwestern United States

open access: yesApplications in Plant Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise In North America, Phragmites australis (common reed) has drawn a great deal of research attention. Non‐native P. australis subsp. australis is a noxious weed that has locally displaced native P. australis subsp. americanus in some areas.

Arthroscopic Primary Repair of Mid‐Substance Posterior Cruciate Ligament Tears With Knotless Dual‐Suspensory Fixation

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) tears can spontaneously heal, but often heal with excess laxity. In contrast to well‐documented arthroscopic proximal and distal PCL tear repairs, the most prevalent mid‐substance tear is typically managed conservatively, or with full reconstruction.

Novel way for classification and type detection of voltage sag

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2013
This study presents a new classification of voltage sags which is based on its types, characteristic voltage and zero‐sequence component of voltage. It is extremely difficult to distinguish between the voltage sags which have same type, same characteristic voltage and same zero‐sequence component of voltage due to load effects and hence such ...

S. aureus colonization and clinical symptoms remain stable upon topical XZ.700 treatment: Results of a double‐blind randomized clinical trial in patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aim Recovering dysbiosis may improve atopic dermatitis (AD) symptoms. XZ.700 is a recombinant chimeric endolysin that specifically targets Staphylococcus aureus and could be a new treatment option for patients with AD. The aim of this first‐in‐human study was to evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of topical XZ.700 and explore the ...

RNA‐centric world of retroviruses: unravelling the molecular strategies of genomic RNA packaging

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Retroviruses constitute a unique group of RNA viruses that have profoundly influenced both evolutionary trajectories and biomedical research. Their ability to reverse transcribe and integrate into host genomes has shaped genomic architecture across species and contributed to our understanding of oncogenes, gene regulation, and RNA biology ...
