A Stacked Symmetrical Non-Isolated High Step-Up Voltage Gain Converter with High Efficiency and Low Voltage Stress on Components

open access: yesEnergies
This paper introduces a cascaded symmetrical non-isolated high step-up voltage gain converter with high efficiency and low voltage stress on components combining a non-isolated buck-boost converter and voltage doubler structure. In the proposed converter,

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Design and Simulation Converter with Buck-boost Converter as The Voltage Stabilizer

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical, Energy and Power System Engineering, 2020
Buck-boost Converter is the device with the function to convert DC Voltage input to the setpoint DC Voltage output. Buck-boost converter can be used for regulating unstable voltage became a stable voltage by the user’s needs. Using a Buck-boost Converter

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Mathematical Modelling of High Voltage Gain Converter Using P and O for PV Based Application

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
This manuscript proposes a novel single switch converter which attains high voltage gain using P and O algorithm. The proposed converter is multilevel with voltage tripler technique. Here the output voltage gain attained is 11 times than the input source.

A Novel Hybrid Compensation Method Reducing the Effects of Distorted Input Voltages in Matrix Converters

open access: yesElektronika ir Elektrotechnika, 2019
Matrix converters have the most compact and efficient AC-AC converter structure due to the lack of the DC intermediate components. The matrix converter makes a single-stage conversion directly connecting any terminal of voltage source to any terminal of ...

Reliability Evaluation of Voltage Source Converters for MVDC Applications [PDF]

open access: yes2019 IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies - Asia (ISGT Asia), 2019
The emerging Medium Voltage Direct Current (MVDC) distribution networks are becoming more attractive due\ud to their flexible control of power flow and lower losses compared to traditional AC networks. This will significantly increase the wide uptake of renewable energy sources. Voltage source converters (VSCs) are the main building blocks of modern DC

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
