STATCOM model in EMTP RV using hysteresis current controlled voltage source converter (VSC)
Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2005., 2006In this paper, a static compensator (STATCOM) model in EMTP RV of a voltage source converter (VSC) is presented. The STATCOM is connected to the end of a transmission line. The DC/AC conversion is obtained by using pulse width modulation (PWM) based on a current hysteresis controller.
