Zero‐voltage‐switching buck converter with low‐voltage stress using coupled inductor [PDF]
This study presents a new zero‐voltage‐switching (ZVS) buck converter. The proposed converter utilises a coupled inductor to implement the output filter inductor as well as the auxiliary inductor which is commonly employed to realise ZVS for switches.

A new topology of the switched-inductor/capacitor quasi Z-source inverter with ability of uplifted-boost [PDF]
In this paper, a new topology of switched-inductor/capacitor quasi impedance source inverter is suggested, which in comparison with the other topologies possesses higher boost voltage inversion at high modulation index and low shoot through duty cycle ...

A Family of Transformerless Quadratic Boost High Gain DC-DC Converters
This paper presents three new and improved non-isolated topologies of quadratic boost converters (QBC). Reduced voltage stress across switching devices and high voltage gain with single switch operation are the main advantages of the proposed topologies.

Pulsed voltage stress on thin oxides
Stress-induced leakage current (SILC) is one of the major problems found in ultra-thin oxides before the onset of soft or catastrophic breakdown during accelerated life tests. Quite often SILC is measured after constant current (CCS) or constant voltage (CVS) stresses, even though during the device life the operating conditions usually involve ...

Capacitive Power Transfer System with Reduced Voltage Stress and Sensitivity
This paper introduces a DC–DC buck converter on the secondary side of the capacitive power transfer system to reduce the voltage and electric field across the interface, and to reduce the circuit Q, and thus the system sensitivity.

A New High-Gain DC-DC Converter with Continuous Input Current for DC Microgrid Applications
The growth of renewable energy in the last two decades has led to the development of new power electronic converters. The DC microgrid can operate in standalone mode, or it can be grid-connected. A DC microgrid consists of various distributed generation (
