Pulsed voltage stress on thin oxides [PDF]
Stress-induced leakage current (SILC) is one of the major problems found in ultra-thin oxides before the onset of soft or catastrophic breakdown during accelerated life tests. Quite often SILC is measured after constant current (CCS) or constant voltage (CVS) stresses, even though during the device life the operating conditions usually involve ...

Voltage stress-induced performance degradation in NMOSFET mixer [PDF]
This paper presents an insight into the performance degradation in Gilbert mixer due to the voltage stress-induced hot carrier effects. Analytical analysis relates the performance degradation with the model parameter shifts caused by voltage stress. The stress-induced parameter shifts are examined experimentally.

A Family of Transformerless Quadratic Boost High Gain DC-DC Converters
This paper presents three new and improved non-isolated topologies of quadratic boost converters (QBC). Reduced voltage stress across switching devices and high voltage gain with single switch operation are the main advantages of the proposed topologies.

Influence of Dielectric Liquid Type on Partial-Discharge Inception Voltage in Oil-Wedge-Type Insulating System under AC Stress [PDF]
This article describes the results of laboratory tests on an oil-wedge-type electrode system, which were supplemented by FEM (finite element method) simulations. The studies were focused on the comparison of the partial-discharge inception voltage (PDIV)

Time dependent dielectric breakdown and stress induced leakage current characteristics of 8Å EOT HfO2 N-MOSFETS [PDF]
In this work we present the time dependent dielectric breakdown (TDDB) characteristics of LaO capped HfO2 layers with an equivalent oxide thickness of 8Å. The layers show maximum operating voltages in excess of 1V. Such high reliability can be attributed
