Histamine and the mechanisms of nausea and vomiting: Translating the uncertain pharmacology of cyclizine

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract Cyclizine is a long‐established, short‐acting drug, registered for preventing motion sickness, post‐operative nausea and vomiting (PONV) and ‘vomiting of known cause’. A scoping review of adverse events associated with concomitant beta‐adrenoreceptor blockers and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Beta‐adrenoreceptor blockers (beta‐blockers) and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are commonly used medications and often used together, such as for the treatment of anxiety. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interaction of enavogliflozin, a sodium‐glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor, with glimepiride and metformin in healthy participants

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aims Enavogliflozin, a sodium‐glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor, is expected to be coadministered with antihyperglycaemic drugs with different mechanisms of action. This study aimed to investigate the pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) interactions between enavogliflozin, glimepiride and metformin.
