Efficient Deconvolution in Populational Inverse Problems
ABSTRACT This work is focused on the inversion task of inferring the distribution over parameters of interest, leading to multiple sets of observations. The potential to solve such distributional inversion problems is driven by the increasing availability of data, but a major roadblock is blind deconvolution, arising when the observational noise ...

At infinite separation, a diatomic molecule reduces to two noninteracting subsystems. The electron density decomposes into atomic densities, while the Rényi entropy functional reveals both additive atomic contributions and nonadditive terms. None of these terms contains any trace of the presence of static correlation effects, particularly important in ...

Jordan Isomorphisms on Nest Subalgebras
This paper is devoted to the study of Jordan isomorphisms on nest subalgebras of factor von Neumann algebras. It is shown that every Jordan isomorphism ϕ between the two nest subalgebras algMβ and algMγ is either an isomorphism or an anti-isomorphism.

The category of von Neumann correspondences from B to C (or von Neumann B-C-modules) is dual to the category of von Neumann correspondences from C' to B' via a functor that generalizes naturally the functor that sends a von Neumann algebra to its ...

Dynamical entropy ofC* algebras and von Neumann algebras
In [Acta Math. 134, 289-306 (1975; Zbl 0326.46032)] \textit{A. Connes} and \textit{E. Störmer} defined the concept of dynamical entropy for antomorphism groups of Von Neumann algebras in the tracial case. Here this concept is extended in the general case to C * and Von Neumann algebras covering the relevant cases of physical systems at finite ...

Spatial‐Wavelength Multiplexing Error‐Controlled Photonic Analog Computing System
A novel photonic integrated circuit prototype implementing the concept of general‐purpose analog computing and demonstrate its capability in radio frequency applications. The chip features a multichannel architecture and performs fully optical analog computation with frequency‐domain parallel processing. An FPGA‐based error‐correction algorithm aims to

Bimodules over Cartan MASAs in von Neumann Algebras, Norming Algebras, and Mercer's Theorem [PDF]
In a 1991 paper, R. Mercer asserted that a Cartan bimodule isomorphism between Cartan bimodule algebras A_1 and A_2 extends uniquely to a normal *-isomorphism of the von Neumann algebras generated by A_1 and A_2 [13, Corollary 4.3].

Deforming the Double‐Scaled SYK and Reaching the Stretched Horizon From Finite Cutoff Holography
ABSTRACT We study the properties of the double‐scaled SYK (DSSYK) model under chord Hamiltonian deformations based on finite cutoff holography for general dilaton gravity theories with Dirichlet boundaries. The formalism immediately incorporates a lower‐dimensional analog of TT¯(+Λ2)$\text{T}\overline{\text{T}}(+\Lambda _2)$ deformations, denoted T2 ...

Uniqueness of extremal almost periodic states on the injective type III1$\mathrm{III}_1$ factor
Abstract Let R∞$R_\infty$ denote the Araki–Woods factor—the unique separable injective type III1$\mathrm{III}_1$ factor. For extremal almost periodic states φ,ψ∈(R∞)∗$\varphi, \psi \in (R_\infty)_*$, we show that if Δφ$\Delta _\varphi$ and Δψ$\Delta _\psi$ have the same point spectrum, then ψ=φ∘α$\psi = \varphi \circ \alpha$ for some α∈Aut(R∞)$\alpha ...

The von Neumann algebra generated by t-gaussians
We study the $t$-deformation of gaussian von Neumann algebras. They appear as example in the theories of Interacting Fock spaces and conditionally free products.
