A Note on ϕ-Pseudo 2-Prime Ideals

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
This paper explores the concept of ϕ-pseudo 2-prime ideals within the framework of commutative rings. Let R be a commutative ring having a nonzero identity and ϕ:LR⟶LR∪∅ be a function, where LR is the lattice of all ideals of R.

On von Neumann regular rings with weak comparability

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2003
The author studies von Neumann regular rings with weak comparability, and obtains several interesting results. Among them he shows that the strict cancellation property and the strict unperforation property hold for the family of directly finite finitely generated projective modules over these rings.

A Polymorphic Reconfigurable Multi‐Electrode Device Based on Electrically Bistable Nanostructured Metallic Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A polymorphic reconfigurable multi‐electrode device based on electrically bistable nanostructured metallic films. The adaptive reconfiguration properties of the nanostructured network under specific input voltages drive the reprogrammability of the device. This system can be employed for the implementation of polymorphic devices, which can be used both

Fundamental Challenges, Physical Implementations, and Integration Strategies for Ising Machines in Large‐Scale Optimization Tasks

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Ising machines are emerging as specialized hardware solvers for computationally hard optimization problems. This review examines five major platforms—digital CMOS, analog CMOS, emerging devices, coherent optics, and quantum systems—highlighting physics‐rooted advantages and shared bottlenecks in scalability and connectivity.

Congruence lattices of free lattices in non-distributive varieties

open access: yes, 2005
We prove that for any free lattice F with at least $\aleph\_2$ generators in any non-distributive variety of lattices, there exists no sectionally complemented lattice L with congruence lattice isomorphic to the one of F.

Electrode‐Engineered Dual‐Mode Multifunctional Lead‐Free Perovskite Optoelectronic Memristors for Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A lead‐free perovskite memristive solar cell structure that call emulate both synaptic and neuronal functions controlled by light and electric fields depending on top electrode type. ABSTRACT Memristive devices based on halide perovskites hold strong promise to provide energy‐efficient systems for the Internet of Things (IoT); however, lead (Pb ...

Who Are the Consumers of European Farmers' Markets? A Cross‐Country Analysis

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT With substantial growth in the number of farmers' markets (FMs) in developed countries, the number of consumers visiting FMs is also increasing. This study comparatively assesses the consumers of FMs in three European countries where FMs traditionally play a distinctive role in food supply chains.

Square-difference factor absorbing submodules of modules over commutative rings

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M an unitary R-module. Recently, in [5], Anderson, Badawi and Coykendalla defined a proper ideal I of R to be a square-difference factor absorbing ideal (sdf-absorbing ideal) of R if whenever a2 − b2 ∈ I for ...

A characterization of von Neumann regular rings and applications

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 2010
For an \(n\times m\) matrix \(A=(a_{ij})\) and an \(m\times l\) matrix \(B=(b_{ij})\) over the same ring \(R\), we say that the pair of matrices \((A,B)\) has simple 0-multiplication if \(a_{ik}b_{kj}=0\) for all \(1\leq i\leq n\), \(1\leq k\leq m\) and \(1\leq j\leq l\).

Toward Capacitive In‐Memory‐Computing: A Device to Systems Level Perspective on the Future of Artificial Intelligence Hardware

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Capacitive, charge‐domain compute‐in‐memory (CIM) stores weights as capacitance, eliminating DC sneak paths and IR‐drop, yielding near‐zero standbypower. In this perspective, we present a device to systems level performance analysis of most promising architectures and predict apathway for upscaling capacitive CIM for sustainable edge computing ...
