Modified Bernstein Polynomials and Jacobi Polynomials in q-Calculus
We introduce here a generalization of the modified Bernstein polynomials for Jacobi weights using the $q$-Bernstein basis proposed by G.M. Phillips to generalize classical Bernstein Polynomials.

Polynomial Inequalities on the π/4-Circle Sector [PDF]
A number of sharp inequalities are proved for the space P (2D (π/4)) of 2-homogeneous polynomials on ℝ2 endowed with the supremum norm on the sector D (π/4) := {eiθ : θ ∈ [0, π/4]}.

Approximation properties of certain modified Szasz-Mirakyan operators
We introduce certain modified Szasz - Mirakyan operators in exponential weighted spaces of functions of one variable. We give theorems on the degree of approximation and the Voronovskaya type theorem.

Convergence Theorems for Derivatives of a New Baskakov -Type Operators
The motive of this paper is to introduce and investigate the derivatives of some Baskakov operators. Firstly, we treated with the convergence theorems on some certain type of Baskakov operators and then we found the derivative of these operators.

An Inverse Approximation and Saturation Order for Kantorovich Exponential Sampling Series
In the present article, an inverse approximation result and saturation order for the Kantorovich exponential sampling series $I_{w}^{\chi}$ are established. First we obtain a relation between the generalized exponential sampling series $S_{w}^{\chi}$ and

On Baskakov operators preserving the exponential function
In this paper, we are concerned about the King-type Baskakov operators defined by means of the preserving functions \(e_{0}\) and \(e^{2ax},\ a>0\) fixed.

The Voronovskaya theorem for some operators of the Szasz-Mirakjan type
We give the Voronovskaya theorem for some operators of the Szasz-Mirakjan type defined in the space of functions continuous on [0,+infinity) and having the polynomial grouth at infinity. Some approximation properties of these operators are given in [2],

Approximation by the new modification of Bernstein-Stancu operators
The current paper deals with the new modification of Bernstein-Stancu operators which preserve constant and Korovkin’s other test functions in limit case. We study the uniform convergence of the newly defined operators.

Approximation by some combinations of Poisson integrals for Hermite and Laguerre expansions
The aim of this paper is the study of a rate of convergence of some combinations of Poisson integrals for Hermite and Laguerre expansions. We are able to achieve faster convergence for our modified operators over the Poisson integrals.

Quadrature rules associated with Baskakov quasi-interpolants
Quadrature rules on the positive real half-line obtained by integrating the Baskakov quasi-interpolants described in \cite{MM, Sab7} are constructed and their asymptotic convergence orders are studied.
