Dynamics of vortex shedding from slender cones [PDF]
PhDThe dynamics of vortex shedding from bluff bodies has been investigated experimentally for many decades, with the simple geometric case for the investigation being a uniform circular cylinder aligned with its axis normal to the flow. Even though

Study of the automotive aerodynamic performance affected by entrance structure of forecabin
Recently, the requirement for cooling capacity decreased when the driving energy changed from liquid fuel to lithium batteries. Therefore, the structure and location of the forecabin could be adjusted based on the aerodynamic performance.

Vortex shedding and drag in dilute Bose-Einstein condensates [PDF]
Above a critical velocity, the dominant mechanism of energy transfer between a moving object and a dilute Bose-Einstein condensate is vortex formation. In this paper, we discuss the critical velocity for vortex formation and the link between vortex shedding and drag in both homogeneous and inhomogeneous condensates.

Study and Evaluation of the Effects of Bionic Groove Structures Applied to Wheel Spokes on the Aerodynamics of a Car Model [PDF]
Decreasing the wheel aerodynamic drag is one of the important measures for lowering vehicle drag and improving fuel efficiency. The innovation of this study is designing the bionic non-smooth groove structure on the spoke surface as a drag reduction ...
