Design Principles for Fluid Molecular Ferroelectrics
A major challenge for soft condensed matter is predicting whether a fluid molecular material will form ferroelectric phase with nematic or smectic order. Through systematic synthesis, and by analogy to solid molecular ferroelectrics, it is shown that subtle hydrogen–fluorine (H/F) substitution(s) allows for tuneable syn‐parallel pairing motifs ...

Preference Uncertainty, Voter Participation and Electoral Efficiency: An Experimental Study [PDF]
We experimentally study the impact of preference uncertainty on voter turnout and electoral efficiency in a participation game. We find higher participation rates when the electorate is informed about the level of support for various candidates than when

Voter Preference Structures in Multiple Office Elections
In a multiple office election, a voter\u27s preference for one seat may depend on their prediction of the outcome of another seat. This encourages strategic voting, and in the worst case, no voter ballot matches the final outcome.

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Partisan voter model: noise-induced transitions
[eng] In this work we study the partisan voter model, an extension of the voter model in which each agent has an innate and fixed preference for one of two possible states.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.
