Majority‐Voting Overlapping Method for Error Correction in DNA Data Storage
We propose an overlapping‐based majority‐voting method for DNA data storage error correction. By aligning multiple reads and choosing the most frequent base per position, it suppresses substitution errors without prior models. Validated on synthetic and real sequencing data, it achieves high‐fidelity, scalable, and cost‐effective reconstruction ...

Voting Behaviour on Free Votes: Simply a Matter of Preferences? [PDF]
Previous research examining the outcomes of free votes concludes that voting behaviour is determined in large part by MPs’ personal preferences. However, most studies do not measure preferences directly and ignore other possible determinants of voting behaviour.

Human‐in‐the‐Loop Object Segmentation for 3D Gaussian Splatting via Finger‐based VR Interface
This study introduces a human‐in‐the‐loop segmentation framework for 3D Gaussian Splatting that integrates real‐time optimization with intuitive VR‐based finger prompting. Compared with existing automatic, learning‐based methods, it achieves significantly higher accuracy and reduced segmentation time.

Practical pollsterless remote electronic voting
This thesis describes the design of a novel class of pollsterless voting schemes. Many cryptographic voting schemes necessitate a pollster because the client side computations are beyond the understanding or ability of the voter.
