Electronic voting using confirmation numbers
2009 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, 2009This paper proposes a new electronic voting (e-voting) scheme that fulfills all the security requirements of e-voting. The key mechanism is the one that uses confirmation numbers involved in individual votes to make votes verifiable while disabling all entities including voters themselves to know the linkages between voters and their votes.

The Social Aspect of Voting for Useful Reviews
2014Word-of-mouth is being replaced by online reviews on products and services. To identify the most useful reviews, many web sites enable readers to vote on which reviews they find useful. In this work we use three hypotheses to predict which reviews will be voted useful. The first is that useful reviews induce feelings.

2004Tensor voting is an efficient algorithm for perceptual grouping and feature extraction, particularly for contour extraction. In this paper two studies on tensor voting are presented. First the use of iterations is investigated, and second, a new method for integrating curvature information is evaluated.

Using Selene to Verify Your Vote in JCJ
2017We show how to combine the individual verification mechanism of Selene with the coercion-resistant e-voting scheme from Juels, Catalano and Jakobsson (JCJ). This results in an e-voting scheme which allows the voter to check directly that her vote is counted as intended, but still allows her to mitigate coercion.
