VSD – control in simulated systems

World Pumps, 2009
To reduce the energy consumption of a parallel pumping system the whole pumping process and its components must be monitored. Simulated environments can be used in finding energy saving potential, which could be realized with different technical solutions such as VSD installment or changing speed adjustment methods.

The treatment of postinfarction VSD

1975
Rupture of the ventricular septum is a relatively uncommon complication of myocardial infarction; in most autopsy series the incidence is l–2%1,2. The defect is almost always associated with ECG evidence of either anterior or inferior infarction and most commonly occurs in the inferior part of the septum towards the apex3.
