A combined aperture‐coupled membrane microstrip patch antenna array

This paper proposes a design of membrane microstrip antennas based on aperture‐coupled feeding. The proposed antenna can be characterised by lightweight, low profile, and flexibility. Integrating the coupling aperture layer and the radiation patch layer into an integrated radiation layer significantly reduces manufacturing complexity.
