The role of natural rubber endogenous proteins in promoting the formation of vulcanization networks

open access: yese-Polymers, 2022
Non-rubber components are critical in the formation of the natural rubber (NR) vulcanization network, which leads to outstanding mechanical properties of NR. This study reports the effect of NR endogenous proteins (C-serum protein/lutoid protein [CSP/LP])

Pengaruh suhu vulkanisasi terhadap sifat tegangan putus, perpanjangan putus dan ketahanan sobek kompon sol karet

open access: yesMajalah Kulit, Karet, dan Plastik, 1995
One of the processes steps for producing rubber sole is vulcanization process. This process is carried out by using pressed moulding methods in which rubber compound was heated and pressed in the mould of rubber sole at certain time and temperature.

Inverse Vulcanization Through Epoxide Chemistry: A Low Temperature Non‐Olefin Route to Sulfur‐Rich Polymer Networks

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Epoxide monomers undergo base‐catalyzed ring‐opening copolymerization with elemental sulfur to afford sulfur‐rich polymers under mild conditions. The resulting materials exhibit excellent mechanical performance, strong adhesion (up to 10 MPa on stainless steel), and outstanding reprocessability.
