A Modified Epidemiological Model to Understand the Uneven Impact of COVID-19 on Vulnerable Individuals and the Approaches Required to Help them Emerge from Lockdown [PDF]
COVID-19 has shown a relatively low mortality rate in young healthy individuals, with the majority of this group being asymptomatic or having mild symptoms, while the severity of the disease among individuals with underlying health conditions has caused signiffcant mortality rates worldwide.

Deinococcus radiodurans‐derived extracellular vesicles (R1‐EVs) provide radioprotection against total‐body irradiation‐induced acute radiation syndrome in mice. R1‐EVs mitigate oxidative damage by scavenging free radicals, promoting intestinal repair, enhancing hematopoietic function, and modulating immune responses. This study highlights the potential

Covid-19 vaccination strategies with limited resources -- a model based on social network graphs [PDF]
We develop a model of infection spread that takes into account the existence of a vulnerable group as well as the variability of the social relations of individuals. We develop a compartmentalized power-law model, with power-law connections between the vulnerable and the general population, considering these connections as well as the connections among

Small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) are encapsulated into protective shells composed of metal‐phenolic networks (MPNs) and secondary poly(ethylene glycol) layers. This surface modification approach enhances the storage stability of sEVs while maintaining their integrity and functionality. The shells can be selectively disassembled under mild conditions.
