Bike-Sharing: Is Safety an Issue Adversely Affecting its Potential for Being Embraced by Urban Societies? [PDF]
Using bicycles on an ‘as-needed’ basis, usually for a small rental fee and without the externalities and obligations linked to bicycle ownership, is what makes public bicycles a societally affordable medium to enhance the transition to a more sustainable

We present a dual‐organ, biomarker‐integrated ovaryendometrium organ‐on‐a‐chip that recapitulates 3D tissue complexity, menstrual cycle dynamics, and hormonal crosstalk. This platform enables real‐time, cell‐typespecific fluorescent readouts of reproductive toxicity using ANGPTL4 and SERPINB2 as early‐response reporters.

Vulnerable Road Users: Characteristics of Pedestrians
Pedestrians are vulnerable road users and comprise the largest single road user group. Walking is a major form of transport in urban areas and crossing a road is a key element in a journey on foot. A pedestrian network is part of the transport system and cannot be separated from it.

Sports Utility Vehicles and vulnerable road users
PUBLISHED Two independent trends in the developed world are likely to reverse some of the hard won improvements that have been made in road safety. One is the ageing of the population; the other the increase in the use of sports utility vehicles (SUVs, high performance four wheel drive cars capable of off-road driving).

Precision Editing of NLRS Improves Effector Recognition for Enhanced Disease Resistance
Precision engineering of plant NLR immune receptors enables rational design of enhanced pathogen resistance through mismatched pairing, domain swapping, and targeted mutagenesis. These approaches achieve multi‐fold expansion in recognition breadth while minimizing autoimmunity risks and fitness penalties.

Vulnerable Road Users (VRUS) Safety in Bangladesh
Traffic crashes in Bangladesh result in an unacceptably high socio-economic toll that has been growing due to inadequate attention and under-investment in safety. According to World health Organization (WHO), more than 20,000 deaths from road traffic crashes are estimated to occur annually in Bangladesh, while around 4000 deaths are officially reported.

DNA Nanostructure‐Templated Multivalency Enables Broad‐Spectrum Virus Inhibition
A honeycomb‐shaped DNA nanostructure is introduced that organizes nanobodies or aptamers into trimeric clusters mirroring the native hemagglutinin arrangement on influenza viruses. This geometry‐matched multivalency enhances binding avidity by up to 1000‐fold, resulting in robust, broad‐spectrum viral neutralization and a 30–55% improvement in host ...
