Genomics Insights Into High‐Latitude Adaptation of Tibetan Macaques

Tibetan macaques exhibit unique adaptations to cold, high‐latitude environments, including shortened tails and enhanced fat storage. Genomic analyses reveal a species‐specific TBX6 mutation linked to tail reduction and selection on lipid metabolism genes.

Precision engineering of plant NLR immune receptors enables rational design of enhanced pathogen resistance through mismatched pairing, domain swapping, and targeted mutagenesis. These approaches achieve multi‐fold expansion in recognition breadth while minimizing autoimmunity risks and fitness penalties.

Traffic crashes in Bangladesh result in an unacceptably high socio-economic toll that has been growing due to inadequate attention and under-investment in safety. According to World health Organization (WHO), more than 20,000 deaths from road traffic crashes are estimated to occur annually in Bangladesh, while around 4000 deaths are officially reported.

OCIAD2 Stabilizes Integrin β1 Signaling Through SNX17‐Mediated Endosomal Recycling to Lipid Rafts and Modulates Cisplatin Response in HNSCC

This study identifies OCIAD2 as a critical regulator of cisplatin resistance in HNSCC. Mechanistically, OCIAD2 stabilizes integrin β1 through a direct physical interaction and facilitates its SNX17‐dependent endosomal recycling to lipid raft microdomains.
