Paraganglioma of the Vulva

A case of vulvar paraganglioma is reported. Following presentation with vulvar pain, a 1-cm nodule was excised from the labium minus of a 58-year-old woman. Histologically, the tumor was composed of nests of round eosinophilic cells with moderately pleomorphic nuclei, beneath an intact squamous epithelium.

Angiokeratomas of the scrotum are common; similar lesions of the vulva are not. Because angiokeratomas may be confused with other lesions, the following case is reported. Report of a Case A 29-year-old woman complained of vulvar lesions that had been present for about a year.

Myoepithelioma of the vulva

The histologic diagnosis of myoepithelioma is often problematic. We here describe a case of myoepithelioma, composed exclusively of neoplastic myoepithelial cells, in the vulva of a 52‐year‐old female. The vulva is a very rare site for this neoplasm. A subcutaneous tumor measuring 3.0×2.5×2.0 cm displayed a multinodular growth pattern.
