Gynecologic Oncology, 2000This is a pilot study to evaluate sexual dysfunction in women after vulvectomy.An 88-question survey was used to assess body image and the DSM IV criteria for sexual dysfunction on women who had undergone vulvectomy.Forty-seven women agreed to participate in the study and 41 women (87%) returned the survey.

Scarring had produced a complete bowel obstruction at the anal orifice. Emphysis is made on preoperative planning as a prerequisite to postoperative success.
