Regeneration response to post‐disturbance forest management in Central Europe
Journal of Applied Ecology, Volume 63, Issue 8, August 2026.As disturbance activity intensifies, forest management must identify strategies to facilitate the rapid recovery of disturbed sites. By studying 868 disturbed sites across Central Europe, we found that active post‐disturbance management significantly enhanced tree regeneration in regional disturbance hotspots.
