p53, mdm-2, and p21 waf-1 in the Porokeratoses

The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 1999
The etiology of the porokeratoses is unknown. Overexpression of the p53 tumor suppressor protein and disregulated cell cycle control have been pathogenically implicated. The p53 tumor suppressor gene product is regulated by mdm2 and both gene products influence cell cycle progression through the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p21. Thirty-three cases

Unsplit WAF-Type Schemes for Three Dimensional Hyperbolic Conservation Laws

1998
Riemann problem based methods form an important and popular class of numerical schemes for the solution of hyperbolic conservation laws today. The original method in this class was constructed by Godunov (1959). The method assumes that piecewise constant data (constant in each cell) is stored at each time level and, in the modern formulation of the ...

Induction of p21 (WAF-1/CIP1) during differentiation.

Oncogene, 1994
The recently cloned protein, p21 (WAF1/CIP1) is a downstream effector of p53, and mediates growth arrest by inhibiting the action of G1 cyclin-dependent kinases. Since cellular differentiation is frequently characterized by G1 arrest, we examined whether p21 upregulation occurs in differentiation.

Integrating URL protection with Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)

International Journal on Science and Technology
Modern-day web applications are facing an array of continuously evolving URL-based threats, including malicious payloads hidden in query strings and automated bots that probe for vulnerable endpoints. In this whitepaper, we will explore the necessity of URL protection in today's web environments and how Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) can be ...
