Sleep Research, EarlyView.This prospective study developed a two‐step clinical scoring system for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) screening based on patients’ somesthetic perception of oropharyngeal airflow. The Intermediate Score (IS ≥ 7.5) achieved 73% sensitivity and 77% specificity (AUC = 0.7754; OR = 8.96).
