ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
At 20 m, potassium carboxylates from formate to butyrate reveal anion tail‐controlled nanostructure. SAXS shows a pre‐peak shifting to lower q with chain length. Molecular dynamics reproduces S(q) and attributes it to concentration fluctuations forming bicontinuous segregation.

Lectotypifications and taxonomic changes in the holoparasitic Orobanchaceae

Based on further extensive studies of specimens in various herbaria, lectotypes are designated for many taxa of holoparasitic Orobanchaceae. In particular, 47 names in the genera Boschniakia (incl. Xylanche), Cistanche, Orobanche, Phelipanche and Phelypaea are lectotypified.

Modulation of North Atlantic atmospheric rivers by the Gulf Stream

Gulf Stream ocean variability plays a key role in modulating atmospheric river (AR) activity over the North Atlantic during winter and spring at monthly time‐scales. Increased ocean heat transport and mesoscale activity in the Gulf Stream are linked to northward shifts in ARs, while stronger surface heat fluxes drive ARs southward.
