Parametric design method of building structured cabling system oriented to data mining
This paper puts forward the method of secondary development and design software through the research of building structured cabling system (SCS), and uses data mining technology to carry out parametric design of building SCS. Then, the feasibility of the design is tested by comparing the data of the traditional design and the parametric design ...

USING FIRED WALL TILE’S SCRAPS IN FLOOR TILE BODY
The effect of the addition of the fired wall tile’s scraps in floor tile body was studied. The fired wall tile’s scraps were added to floor tile body according to 1.96-5.66-10.71-17.85 wt. % ratios. The sintering behavior of the floor tile was evaluated by measuring the water absorption, fired shrinkage, dry shrinkage and fired strength.

Evaluating Composite Sampling Methods of Bacillus Spores at Low Concentrations. [PDF]
Restoring all facility operations after the 2001 Amerithrax attacks took years to complete, highlighting the need to reduce remediation time. Some of the most time intensive tasks were environmental sampling and sample analyses. Composite sampling allows

Robust Spot Melting by 3D Spot Arrangements in Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion
This work proposes an approach to replace separately melted contours for spot melting in electron beam powder fusion. Adapting the spot arrangements close to the contour combined with stacking yields a comparable surface quality without the inherent challenges of separate contours, as demonstrated, by electron optical images and roughness measurements.

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.
