Divergent Silylmagnesiation of Ynamides: An Efficient and Versatile Entry to Polysubstituted Enamides

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 4, April 2026.
A set of selective and divergent procedures for the silylmetallation of ynamides is reported. Upon simple reaction with a silyl‐Grignard reagent in the presence of catalytic amounts of copper bromide, a β‐selective, syn‐silylmagnesiation occurs affording a unique and selective access to polysubstituted silylated enamides.

Overriding Bioprocess Perturbations With a Cell–Machine Interface for Reliable Microbial Stress‐Response Control

open access: yesMicrobial Biotechnology, Volume 19, Issue 4, April 2026.
The environmental perturbations imposed by the cell–machine interface dominate over mixing‐induced heterogeneities and drive cell population homogeneity. ABSTRACT Controlling cell population dynamics and phenotypic diversification is a key objective in systems and synthetic biology, particularly for ensuring uniform responses from engineered gene ...

Rainfall and Rain‐on‐Snow Events Over Greenland in Summer: Climatology, Trends, Synoptics

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 5, 16 March 2026.
Abstract Rain‐on‐snow (ROS) events in the Arctic can lead to major impacts on the snow cover, cryosphere and environment. During the last decades, these events have significantly increased, mostly due to climate change. Here, we use outputs from the regional climate model MAR (version 3.14) driven by the ERA5 reanalysis at 10‐km resolution over ...
