Green communication systems via a wavefront multiplexing technique

open access: yesSystems Engineering, Volume 28, Issue 1, Page 5-14, January 2025.
Abstract A green communication scheme using an orthogonal wavefront (WF) multiplexing (Muxing) scheme spatially combined with orthogonal frequency‐division multiplexing (OFDM) techniques is proposed. It forms a spatial WF OFDM transceiver. The WF Muxing technique serves as the preprocessing and postprocessing method of the WF OFDM transceiver.

Comparison between Different Data Image Compression Techniques Applied on SAR Images

open access: yesIraqi Journal of Physics, 2008
In this paper, image compression technique is presented based on the Zonal transform method. The DCT, Walsh, and Hadamard transform techniques are also implements. These different transforms are applied on SAR images using Different block size.

Quantum Simulation Logic, Oracles, and the Quantum Advantage

open access: yes, 2019
Query complexity is a common tool for comparing quantum and classical computation, and it has produced many examples of how quantum algorithms differ from classical ones.

An efficient no‐reference image quality analysis based on statistical perceptual features

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
1. A novel and efficient feature‐based no‐reference image quality assessment (NR‐IQA) focus measure is proposed. 2. It is based on the statistical structural and texture features of the image. 3. The logarithmic entropy‐based focus measure shows promising results as compared to the existing techniques. Abstract It is well known that image quality needs

Remarks on numerical approximation of Volterra integral equations by Walsh–Hadamard transform

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics
Walsh functions form a piecewise-constant orthonormal basis that is particularly well-suited for digital computation and signal approximation. Nevertheless, the direct evaluation of Walsh transforms for discrete functions becomes computationally ...

Super sub-Nyquist single-pixel imaging by means of cake-cutting Hadamard basis sort

open access: yes, 2019
Single-pixel imaging via compressed sensing can reconstruct high-quality images from a few linear random measurements of an object/scene known a priori to be sparse or compressive, by using a point/bucket detector without spatial resolution. Nevertheless,

NoLIEM: A Novel Lightweight Image Encryption Method for Resource‐Constrained IoT Devices

open access: yesIET Information Security, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
The expanded use of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in smart homes, industrial automation, healthcare, and smart cities has increased the risk of unauthorized access, data breaches, and man‐in‐the‐middle attacks. Traditional encryption methods like AES and RSA are too energy‐ and processing‐intensive for IoT devices.

QROP: Quantum Learning‐Based Identification of Retinopathy of Prematurity

open access: yesIET Quantum Communication, Volume 6, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This work aims to classify normal and ROP‐affected retinal images using a quantum neural network (QNN). The proposed system uses the HVDROPDB (2023) dataset fundus images of preterm infants. The proposed system achieves 97.06% accuracy with the HVDROPDB Neo dataset, 91.18% accuracy with the HVDROPDB RetCam dataset, and 85.29% accuracy when evaluated on

An Adaptive Simplified Travelling Wave‐Based Fault Detection, Classification and Location Estimation Strategy for Series Compensated Transmission Lines

open access: yesIET Smart Grid, Volume 8, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This paper proposes an integrated model for fault detection, classification, and location in power transmission systems using voltage signals from a single terminal of a series‐compensated line. Simulations show the model achieves 100% accuracy for fault detection, classification and faulty segment identification, and 99.79% accuracy for fault location
