Individualized Atrophy‐Based Prediction of Dementia Progression in Familial Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration With Bayesian Linear Mixed‐Effects Modeling

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective Age of symptom onset is highly variable in familial frontotemporal lobar degeneration (f‐FTLD). Accurate prediction of onset would inform clinical management and trial enrollment. Conformational switching of the pseudokinase domain promotes human MLKL tetramerization and cell death by necroptosis

open access: yesNature Communications, 2018
RIPK3-mediated phosphorylation of the mixed lineage kinase domain-like (MLKL) pseudokinase is thought to be the trigger for MLKL activation during necroptotic signaling. Here the authors provide evidence that the transition of human MLKL from a monomeric

Transcriptomic changes including p53 dysregulation prime DNMT3A mutant cells for transformation

open access: yesEMBO Reports
DNMT3A mutations are prevalent in haematologic malignancies. In our mouse model the murine homologue (R878H) of the human ‘hotspot’ R882H mutation is introduced into the mouse Dnmt3a locus. This results in globally reduced DNA methylation in all tissues.
