Epistemic Violence in Global Climate Governance: The Case of Climate Finance in Vanuatu
Short Abstract This paper examines how epistemic violence operates within Vanuatu's climate finance (access) industry. Integrating conceptual work on epistemic violence with empirical fieldwork, it identifies four mechanisms through which such violence is enacted: distortion, imposition, devaluation and exploitation.
