Polynomial Fuzzy Contractions With Applications to SEIRV Epidemic Models

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this study, a new family of polynomial‐type fuzzy contractions defined on metric spaces is introduced. Under filtered assumptions, it is demonstrated that such non‐crisp set‐valued operators possess some fixed points. Because of the higher‐order terms polynomial nature of the contractions, a few important corollaries, some of which drop to existing ...

Exact Soliton Dynamics and Stability Analysis of a Fractional Order Coupled Wu‐Zhang System via a Generalized Riccati−Bernoulli−Bäcklund Approach

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
To investigate the fractional coupled Wu‐Zhang system analytically, this paper uses a hybrid generalized Riccati−Bernoulli sub‐ODE scheme and Bäcklund transformation to find the exact kink, antikink, and bright‐kink soliton solutions. The dynamical properties of these solutions are discussed using Hamiltonian formulation, phase‐portrait analysis, and ...

Beta‐Fractional Heat Flow and Rotational Effects in the Thermoelasticity Response of Microelongated Solids

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This work conducts a comprehensive examination of the impact of rotational motion on the transmission of thermomechanical waves in microelongated thermoelastic materials. The analysis is conducted within the framework of fractional‐order heat conduction by incorporating the β‐fractional derivative into three established thermoelastic models: the Lord ...

Psychometric Evaluation of the Insomnia Severity Index in Chronic Disease Patients Using Three Complementary Approaches

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 15, Issue 11, November 2025.
The Bangla version of the ISI was validated among adults with chronic diseases using confirmatory factor analysis, Rasch modeling, and network analysis. Findings supported a two‐factor structure (nighttime symptoms, daytime impact) with strong reliability, measurement invariance across gender, and coherent symptom networks.
