Distinct Brain Drivers and Shared Cerebello–Cortical Input in ADCY5 and SGCE Hyperkinetic Movements

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Resting‐state fMRI and effective connectivity revealed distinct cerebellar–basal ganglia–cortical interactions in ADCY5 (MxMD‐ADCY5) and SGCE (MYC/DYT‐SGCE) related movement disorders. The cerebellum modulated cortex directly in MYC/DYT‐SGCE, but indirectly via basal ganglia‐cerebellar projections in MxMD‐ADCY5, which also showed reduced subthalamic ...

Mental Health and Corresponding Interventions for Persons With Physical Disabilities: A Scoping Review

open access: yesMedicine Advances, EarlyView.
This scoping review of 33 studies maps the landscape of mental health in persons with physical disabilities. It finds a high prevalence of depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, and other psychological problems, but highlights significant heterogeneity across studies in sample size, measurement, and representativeness.

Reconsidering Volume‐Based Drug Procurement Policy: The Consequences of Manufacturers' Optimal Production Planning and Breach Strategies

open access: yesNaval Research Logistics (NRL), EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper examines the impacts of Volume‐Based Procurement (VBP) policies on pharmaceutical supply chains, with a focus on the strategic behaviors of manufacturers. VBP aims to reduce costs and stabilize supplies by centralizing procurement through competition based on volumes and prices.

Clinician insights into pediatric temporary feeding tube management: Unseen barriers, unclear roles revealed from a prospective mixed methods study

open access: yesNutrition in Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Temporary feeding tubes are common in pediatric healthcare, but research on understanding how clinicians manage their use and understand the impact on families is limited. Existing research often overlooks clinician perspectives despite tensions between clinical priorities and family needs. This study aimed to understand clinicians'

Interdiction Models and Heuristics for Graph Propagation

open access: yesNetworks, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Given a graph G=(V,E)$$ G=\left(V,E\right) $$ and a set S⊂V$$ S\subset V $$ of activated/infected nodes, we consider the problem of determining the set of c$$ c $$ nodes that minimizes the network propagation on the subgraph that results from the removal of those c$$ c $$ nodes. To measure network propagation, we assume that a node i$$ i $$ is
