Protection of organic cereals from insect and rodent pests in a warehouse by combined use of traps and sticky tapes [PDF]

open access: yesPesticidi i Fitomedicina, 2021
Several options of protection of organic cereals (winter and spring wheat, rye and maize) from insect and rodent pests, using a combination of traps (with or without pheromone/ attractant) and sticky tapes and no chemicals, were tested in a warehouse ...

Development of an ANFIS Model for the Optimization of a Queuing System in Warehouses

open access: yesInformation, 2018
Queuing systems (QS) represent everyday life in all business and economic systems. On the one hand, and there is a tendency for their time and cost optimization, but on the other hand, they have not been sufficiently explored.

Software-Defined Far Memory in Warehouse-Scale Computers

open access: yesInternational Conference on Architectural Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems, 2019
Increasing memory demand and slowdown in technology scaling pose important challenges to total cost of ownership (TCO) of warehouse-scale computers (WSCs). One promising idea to reduce the memory TCO is to add a cheaper, but slower, "far memory" tier and

A Simulation-Based Optimization Method for Warehouse Worker Assignment

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2020
The general assignment problem is a classical NP-hard (non-deterministic polynomial-time) problem. In a warehouse, the constraints on the equipment and the characteristics of consecutive processes make it even more complicated. To overcome the difficulty

Highly Active Air Electrode with Enhanced Proton Conduction via Isovalent Doping in a Layered Perovskite for Reversible Protonic Ceramic Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Ni‐doped PBSCN20 air electrode is proposed as a promising air electrode material for reversible protonic ceramic cells. An isovalent doping significantly facilitates oxygen vacancy formation and proton uptake while simultaneously reducing the energy barrier for proton migration.
