Intraspecific variability rivals interspecific differences in root traits of temperate tree seedlings

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, EarlyView.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Global change and associated disturbances are increasing the risk of regeneration failure for tree species in temperate forests. Hemipteran vectors of stylet‐borne plant viruses: Aphids lead the charge

open access: yesInsect Science, EarlyView.
Among all sap‐feeding hemipterans, aphids stand out by far as the most important vectors of noncirculative plant viruses.
