3D Printed Optics Achieves Broadband Structured Light
The arbitrary creation of structured light often requires complex design and fabrication steps and is largely limited to single wavelength. By leveraging off the toolkit for digital holograms, how complex amplitude modulation can be implemented as 3D printed optics in a manner that is broadband is shown, for the creation of multiwavelength forms ...

This study introduces a textile‐based capacitive pressure sensor featuring a triangular prism microstructure, which significantly enhances sensitivity to 5.52% kPa−¹ and supports a wide sensing range up to 330 kPa. The sensor's performance is validated in a 4‐channel capacitive pressure‐based force myography (cFMG) armband for gesture recognition ...

Manufacture of Soft‐Hard Implants from Electrospun Filaments Embedded in 3D Printed Structures
The surgical repair of rotator cuff tendon tears can fail due to use of suture anchors that do not promote healing of the native tissues. A simple manufacturing approach is presented here that combines electrospun filaments and 3D printing to achieve biphasic scaffolds using biocompatible materials: a soft polydioxanone cuff embedded in a porous ...

This is a survey on the geometry of warped products, without, or essentially with only soft, calculation. Somewhere in the paper, the goal was to give a synthetic account since existing approaches are rather analytic. Somewhere else, we have interpreted statements, especially by means of a physical terminology.

On homogeneous warped product Einstein metrics [PDF]
In this article we study homogeneous warped product Einstein metrics and its connections with homogeneous Ricci solitons. We show that homogeneous $( ,n+m)$-Einstein manifolds (which are the bases of homogeneous warped product Einstein metrics) are one-dimensional extensions of algebraic solitons. This answers a question from a paper of C.

Sensory Encoding Alternates With Hippocampal Ripples across Cycles of Forebrain Spiking Cascades
This study reveals widespread, coordinated brain activity during passive visual stimulation in mice. Sensory coding, phase‐locked with the periodic dynamics, shows an inverse relationship to hippocampal ripples. The results suggest that periodic brain activity spurs alteration between two distinct operational modes of brain, facilitating exteroceptive ...

Cellulose nanofibril networks are modified by well‐defined cationic nanolatexes synthesized through reversible addition–fragmentation chain‐transfer‐mediated polymerization‐induced self‐assembly. Minute additions of nanolatexes impact the macroscopic mechanical properties, and the observed effects depend on the integrity of the nanolatexes' core–shell ...

Low‐Irradiance Antimicrobial Blue Light‐Bathing Therapy for Wound Infection Control
Antimicrobial blue light has been shown as an appealing non‐pharmacological antimicrobial alternative. However, its clinical applications have been hindered by high irradiance‐associated photothermal risks. In this work, a low‐irradiance blue light‐bathing concept and a wearable photonic wound patch are established to address this challenge in terms of

The Impact of Including Carbonyl Iron Particles on the Melt Electrowriting Process
For the first time, iron particles are included within a biomaterial ink for melt electrowriting. Using poly(vinylidene difluoride), carbonyl iron particles can be increased to 15 wt% with minimal effects on the melt electrowriting process. This allows manipulation of the resulting scaffolds using external magnets.

On doubly warped product submanifolds of Generalized $(κ,μ)$-Space Forms [PDF]
In this paper we establish a general inequality involving the Laplacian of the warping functions and the squared mean curvature of any doubly warped product isometrically immersed in a Riemannian manifold. Moreover, we obtain some geometric inequalities for C-totally real doubly warped product submanifolds of generalized $(\kappa,\mu)$-space forms.
