Green Light Vat‐Photopolymerisation for 3D Printing Hydrogels with Complex Lattice Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Green‐light vat‐photopolymerization (gDLP) at 514 nm enables high‐resolution 3D printing of water‐rich hydrogels (60% water) with 50 μm$\umu{\rm m}$ layer precision. This study pioneers a cost‐effective, modified desktop printer and novel bioresins to fabricate complex vascularized lattices.

Warping functions of some warped products

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2014
Abstract In this paper we study the warping functions of some warped products. Let H n be the n-dimensional hyperbolic space with sectional curvature −1. We prove that if the warping function f of the warped product H n × f R has a critical point, then H n × f R = H n + 1 if and only

Dielectric Barrier Discharge Electrothermal Heating and Additive Manufacturing of Thermoset Parts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
3D printing of thermosets is difficult due to the low yield stress of most uncured resins. However, by locally heating resin using a non‐equilibrium plasma, layers can be partially cured and printing enabled. Plasma application to a liquid epoxy/carbon nanotube composite is observed to cause rapid surface heating and oxidation of the cured layers ...

Relationship between cooling parameters and warping of hot rolled strips

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2016
For 12-ram-thick hot-rolled X70 pipeline steel strips coiled at 500 ℃, a coupled thermomechanicalphase transition model in the laminar cooling process was established by MARC finite element software, and then the changes in temperature field, stress ...

WARPED SUPER–BIGRAVITY

open access: yesString Phenomenology 2003, 2004
Warped supergravities with lower-dimensional branes provide consistent field-theoretic framework for discussion of important aspects of modern string theory physics. In particular, it is possible to study reliably supersymmetry breakdown and its transmission between branes.

Dual‐Wavelength Vat Photopolymerization With Dissolvable, Recyclable Support Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Selective solubility vat photopolymerization (SSVP) uses a single resin to produce dissolvable thermoplastics and insoluble thermosets in a single 3D print. Wavelength‐selective curing and thermal post‐processing provide 3D spatial control over dissolution kinetics, enabling dissolvable support structures and programmable dissolution profiles.
