Sand Washing Test and Evaluation in Horizontal Cased Hole Using Coiled Tubing

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2019
To optimize the main parameters of sand washing in the horizontal cased hole using coiled tubing and verify the sand washing performance under different working conditions, the coiled tubing unit is used to convey the sand washing tool to carry out sand ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Effects of aging of radioactive fallout on timely decontamination of concrete using low and mild pressure washing

open access: yesHeliyon
Timely decontamination will reduce the consequences of a radiological contamination event. For this purpose, pressure washing can be rapidly deployed, but its effectiveness will change if the interactions between the surface and radionuclides changes as ...

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Studies on Washing (Report IV) : On efficiency of the electric washing machine [PDF]

open access: yes, 1961
The details of the washing efficiency of electric washing machines for home use were studied with the standard artificially tainted cloth. The present experiment performed by the author of this paper was done chiefly with the intention to investigate ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Time-saving Goods, Time Inequalities, and Optimal Taxation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Time-saving goods are defined as market goods that reduce home labor requirements (e.g. restaurants; washing machines). Assuming that time savings are costly, this paper shows that lower-income individuals can purchase fewer time savings and enjoy less ...

Epigenetic silencing of the liver‐specific lncRNA LUNAR promotes liver cancer progression via NOTCH activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
LUNAR is a liver‐specific long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that is highly expressed in normal liver but becomes epigenetically silenced in hepatocellular carcinoma through promoter hypermethylation. Loss of LUNAR is associated with NOTCH activation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and metastasis, whereas restoring LUNAR restrains metastatic progression ...

Design and development of a dynamic-active cloth washing process [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This thesis describes washing performance of a new introduced washing process. A laboratory washing model is developed to simulate the dynamic-active cloth washing process.
