Multimodal Imaging of Ductal Carcinoma In Situ: A Single-Center Study of 75 Cases
Introduction: Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is a non-invasive precursor of breast cancer, usually detected on mammography as clustered microcalcifications. Many cases, however, lack calcifications and require complementary imaging.

Qualitative and Quantitative Assessment of Enhancement and Washout Characteristics of HCC and non HCC Hypervascular Liver Tumours [PDF]
Introduction: The image based diagnosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) relies on assessment of arterial enhancement and venous or delayed phase washout.

Low-scale leptogenesis with three heavy neutrinos
Leptogenesis induced by the oscillations of GeV-scale neutrinos provides a minimal and testable explanation of the baryon asymmetry of the Universe. In this work we extend previous studies invoking only two heavy neutrinos to the case of three heavy ...

Cer24:1 levels are reduced in neutrophilic asthma and inversely correlate with disease severity and airway neutrophilia. Restoring Cer24:1 suppresses pathogenic Th17 differentiation by engaging EP2 on CD4+ T cells, thereby dampening the JAK2–STAT3–RORγt axis and reducing IL‐17 production.

In all imaging methods, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), enhancement in the late phase (LP) is an important criterion for differentiating between benign and malignant focal liver lesions (FLLs).

Exotic fermion multiplets as a solution to baryon asymmetry, dark matter and neutrino masses
We propose an extension to the standard model where three exotic fermion 5-plets and one scalar 6-plet are added to the particle content. By demanding that all interactions are renormalizable and standard model gauge invariant, we show that the lightest ...

Restoration of CFTR function in patients with cystic fibrosis carrying the F508del-CFTR mutation [PDF]
Restoration of BECN1/Beclin 1-dependent autophagy and depletion of SQSTM1/p62 by genetic manipulation or autophagy-stimulatory proteostasis regulators, such as cystamine, have positive effects on mouse models of human cystic fibrosis (CF). These measures

To address multidrug‐resistant urinary tract infections (MDR‐UTIs), we developed Cu‐ZIF8‐Ru nanozyme featuring an asymmetric Cu─N─Ru catalytic site. This unique structure enhances multienzyme‐mimetic activity, eradicating resistant bacteria by inducing a cuproptosis‐like death pathway through intracellular Cu2+ accumulation and energy depletion.

Leptogenesis with Dirac Neutrinos [PDF]
We describe a "neutrinogenesis" mechanism whereby, in the presence of right-handed neutrinos with sufficiently small pure Dirac masses, (B+L)-violating sphaleron processes create the baryon asymmetry of the Universe, even when B=L=0 initially.

Resident myonuclei are the molecular “control centers” for large multinuclear muscle fibers. It is presumed that, with aging, these control centers become compromised and contribute to delayed or blunted muscle adaptive potential. This study is a detailed roadmap that exposes how young versus aged myonuclei respond to a hypertrophic loading stimulus ...
