Single oral administration of dronabinol increases ocular blood flow in patients with glaucoma
Abstract Purpose Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness globally, primarily driven by elevated intraocular pressure (IOP). Still, some patients progress despite significant IOP lowering, potentially due to impaired ocular blood flow. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dronabinol, a synthetic tetrahydrocannabinol derivative, on ...

Abstract Aim Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is associated with increased dementia risk, but comparative data across newer glucose‐lowering therapies remain limited. We examined whether the initiation of GLP‐1 receptor agonists (GLP‐1 RAs) was associated with incident dementia compared with DPP4 inhibitors (DPP4is) and SGLT2 inhibitors (SGLT2is) in older adults ...

Modulation of Corticomuscular Coupling With Split‐Belt Locomotor Adaptation in Healthy Young Males
This study demonstrated that alpha and beta corticomuscular coherence (CMC) between the sensorimotor region and tibialis anterior muscle temporarily decreased upon the onset and removal of split‐belt perturbation. Subsequently, alpha CMC increased during adaptation, and both alpha and beta CMC increased during post‐adaptation.

Disentangling the Components Shaping Aquatic Richness Over Spatial Scales in Extreme Climatic Events
ABSTRACT Species richness in a region can be partitioned into three components: (1) spatial aggregation of individuals, (2) variation in total individual density and (3) species abundance distribution (SAD). However, it remains unclear how the influence of these components on richness changes under extreme climatic events.

RioM‐1: A New Calcite Reference Material for U‐Pb LA‐ICP‐MS Geochronology
Key Points RioM‐1 calcite was characterised for trace elements, U‐Pb geochronology, Sr and O isotopes using ID‐TIMS, LA‐ICP‐MS and SIMS. U‐Pb dates from ID‐TIMS and LA‐ICP‐MS across several independent laboratories returned identical results within uncertainty.
