Metabolism of waste engine oil by Pseudomonas species. [PDF]
Two bacterial strains phylogenetically identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains RM1 and SK1 displayed extensive degradation ability on waste engine oil (SAE 40W) in batch cultures. Spectrophotometric analysis revealed the presence of various heavy metals such as lead, chromium and nickel in the waste engine oil.

Combustion engine applications of waste tyre pyrolytic oil
Abstract There is abundant worldwide research into combustion engine applications for tyre pyrolysis oil (TPO). However, many of these studies demonstrate conflicting or ambiguous results, so although the huge number of used tyres promises good availability for TPO, its role as fuel for transport applications is still uncertain. This review´s goal is
